PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone)

Also known as: PQQ, BioPQQ, methoxatin

Grade C — Preliminaryantioxidantmitochondrial
1020 mgMorning with food. Often stacked with CoQ10.

PQQ (Pyrroloquinoline Quinone) is a redox cofactor that stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis — the creation of new mitochondria — through activation of PGC-1α. Human trials show improvements in sleep quality, cognitive function, and markers of inflammation and oxidative stress at doses of 10-20mg daily. PQQ works synergistically with CoQ10, as one creates new mitochondria while the other optimizes their function.

TL;DR: Stimulates mitochondrial biogenesis (creation of new mitochondria). Best paired with CoQ10. Still early research.
